Educational game presenting Kaunas’s historical heritage
About project
A wittily creative game is developed for a marketing campaign, the aim of which is to encourage young people to take an interest in Kaunas’s historical and cultural heritage, to choose points and to share messages on social networks.
Lithuanian hetman Jonas Karolis Chodkevičius was teleported during the game to the future, and he invites participants to answer the test questions and thus help to protect the history of Lithuania from invaders from the past. Participants are encouraged to look for answers to the questions in various sources and thus to be interested in the historical heritage of Kaunas. In the intermediate stages of the game, the character comments on the results of the participant, and after completing the test, they receive praise or reprimand depending on their achievements and are invited to involve friends and share the invitation on social networks.
The following services have been provided in the course of the project: Game script, filming and video clips, voice and music background have been created, test questions and content of the game have been prepared, translations into English, subtitles, photoshoots and photos, game design and graphics for content illustration, programming of adaptive user interfaces and website, game logic programming, installation of content management system for test development, and the performance of testing, installation, support, warranty service have been provided.
