Mobile app with augmented and virtual reality ‘Discover Jewish Lithuania’

The ‘Discover Jewish Lithuania’ mobile app is designed to explore unique moments of Jewish history in Lithuania. The application works on iOS and Android platforms. It contains more than 60 stories in such cities as Ukmergė, Kėdainiai, Joniškis, Žagarė, Valkininkai, Degsnės and of course ‘North Jerusalem’ – Vilnius. The application has an object recognition function based on Vuforia software. The virtual property was created under the Vilnius Jewish Synagogue, whose 3D model and visualisations were prepared on the basis of the existing archive material. Mobile applications for content management have been developed and a content management system has been installed as well.

During the project, a detailed analysis of needs, project documentation and prototype mobile app were prepared. Trademark and mobile app design, programming, installation, development and warranty maintenance of the app were performed. Tests on iOS and Android operating systems were done and a representative website was created. Works of external service providers when executing sound creation services and 3D modelling services were coordinated.
