The intranet system of SODRA administrative institutions
About project
The intranet system of SODRA administrative institutions is designed for the staff of the institution. The information system has been implemented on the basis of WordPress software.
The following functions have been implemented in information systems:
- User authentication using the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP);
- Flexible user rights and role system allows setting review and/or editing rights for individual pages, headings at the institution or department level;
- Configuration of the rights system managed in the internal SODRA user administration information system through the integration interface;
- Information and subpages of SODRA subdivisions;
- Contacts of the institution’s employees and their search;
- Publication of news and reports, media reviews;
- Calendar of events, the subsystem for registration for training and events;
- Discussions and comments;
- Placement and publicity of information about public procurement on the sodra.lt website through the integration interface;
- Hall occupancy calendar and reservation as well as a administration subsystem of reservations for responsible staff;
- Documents and document searches;
- Publication of proposals (ideas) and discussions;
- Polls and forms;
- Search.
Attendance data accounting and analysis tools; integrations with customer’s internal information systems:
- User authentication MS Active Directory;
- Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager (FIM);
- E-mail notification system Microsoft Exchange 2010;
- Personnel data management information system;
- Foundation website sodra.lt.
The following services have been provided in the course of the project: Alternative intranet design concepts have been developed, solution architecture, functional and technical documentation have been prepared, a prototype of the intranet user interface has been prepared, graphic design has been developed, adaptive user interface and intranet website have been programmed, WordPress content management system and widgets have been installed, its components and functions have been programmed, integration with the sodra.lt website and SODRA internal information systems have been implemented, tests have been carried out, educational material has been prepared, training for the staff of the institution has been arranged. A virtual dedicated server has been developed; the solution has been installed in the customer’s technical infrastructure. Solution development and aftersales maintenance services have been provided.
